Pumpkin stress balls
Take orange balloons and fill them with rice. Draw your favorite Jack-o-lantern face using Sharpies. Perfect for kiddos or adults (when the planning gets rough).
Spunky candles
Mix melted candle wax with the shavings of your favorite crayons to create a mixture. Dip regular taper candles half-way and allow to dry for an added ghostly glow.
‘Dead’ plant creations
Assemble a pot of your favorite artificial plants and flowers, then paint/spray-paint them black for a decoration that is ghoul-like and festive.
Create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece
This one has a shelf-life, but it’s worth it for a Fall or Halloween party/dinner. Take a mini or small-medium sized pumpkin and carve a hole that is deep enough to allow for scooping. Empty the contents and place a plastic water bottle (cut to size) in the hole. Fill this with water to act as a vase, then fill with a bustling arrangement of flowers and seasonal plants. For an added ‘ooh la la’ element, paint the pumpkin first with metallic or glitter paint to make an eye-popping décor item.
