Did you know the Village of Oswego partners with The Conservation Foundation? Their mission is to improve the environmental health of communities in northeastern Illinois, focusing on the DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.
Recently, the non-profit land and river protection organization compiled a list of the best nature trails in the northeast area–and Oswego’s nature walks made the cut!
Included in their “Top 10” sites are the Hudson Crossing Park in downtown Oswego and Violet Patch Park along the Fox River. The Fox River Trail itself is also listed as one of the best.
The Conservation Foundation regularly endeavors to identify those places in nature where the ‘mind, body,’ and soul’ are serviced. We feel proud to be featured in their regional brochure!
